The purpose of the Carolina Veterans Alumni Network (CVAN) is to strengthen connection, deepen commitment, and build community across the Carolina veteran community — past, present, and future. CVAN serves as a bridge between military service and the Carolina experience, fostering relationships among veteran alumni, current student veterans, and the broader UNC community. Guided by shared purpose and mutual respect, CVAN works between two core questions: How do we keep veterans connected to UNC? And how does UNC continue to demonstrate its commitment to those who have served?
