UNC Alum & Veteran Elected to GAA Board of Directors

Dr. Grant Campbell (’93 BSPH, ’97 MD) was elected as a member of the UNC General Alumni Association Board of Directors in March of this year. Dr. Campbell is a practicing physician in Concord, NC, and served for nine years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps Reserve with deployments as a Trauma Surgeon to Iraq/Kuwait in 2010 and Afghanistan in 2012 and again in 2015. He was honorably discharged as a Lt. Colonel in 2017. He also serves on the NC State Board of Community Colleges and is a member of the Board of Advisors of The Independence Fund, The Interpreting Freedom Foundation, and the Susan Tillis Foundation.
